Lounging With Dad

Aren't my boys so cute?! This is how we caught Zach sleeping one evening, so we thought Steve should match the pose.

Four Generations

Steve's Grandpa Tilling was very excited that we had a little boy. The Tilling name will live on! Here is a picture of the proud Great Grandfather with Steve's dad, Steve, and of course, Zach.

Tummy Time, Bath Time, and Play Time

Zach's getting much stronger and really lifting his head while on his belly. This time he even got his legs off the ground too! Thanks Marsha for the beautiful quilt that he has to lay on. It has been used a lot!
He's still not quite sure about bath time. He doesn't hate it, but doesn't love it either. Although he does look super cute wrapped up in his towel afterward!

As Zach gets older he becomes more active and alert every day. He loves playing in his play gym. His favorite part is looking at himself in the mirror that hangs right above his head. I think he smiles at himself more than anyone else!

He's All Smiles!!!

This has been a very fun week with Zach. He gave us his first smile about a week and a half ago, but this week he has really been smiling a lot. Right when he wakes up is his happiest time. He smiles and "talks" a lot. Today he even smiled at Steve when he came home from work. He is so much more interactive now. It's amazing how much they learn in only 6 1/2 weeks!

Zach's First Bottle

At 4 weeks old we decided to start seeing if Zach would take a bottle. It took him 3 or 4 minutes the first time to figure it out, but now he's taking it pretty well. It's nice to know that it isn't the end of the world if I run some errands that take longer than 2 hours. Now Steve can help with some of the feedings.

A Visit From Aunt Shannon And Sofia

Aunt Shannon and Sofia made a trip up from Texas to meet their new nephew/cousin. We decided that this is the only time that Sofia will be that much bigger than Zach. She is only 4 months older than him. I can't believe that he'll be that big by the end of the summer! We all had a really nice visit.
